The whole cast gives a superb performances, especially Norman Large and Richard Bermundez. A perfect capture with no blackouts, no washout, and no obstruction. A charming show full of heart and humor. The story is adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s This Side of Paradise and is inspired by his years at Princeton.  This is captured nicely overall, but there are a few issues. There are three blackouts in act one; the first three and a half minutes of the show, and two blackouts in the middle of the act that last about two and a half minutes each. There are also a few heads at the bottom of the screen that frequently block the actors feet, but never block the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of shots

A fantastic capture of this brand new show by the writers of Book of Mormon, Avenue Q, and Frozen. The show is very clever and funny, and the music is great, but it’s a bit clunky in places so there are sure to be changes before it does another run. This is very nicely captured with no major blackouts and just a couple quick dropouts and no obstruction. There is a bit of washout in some high contrast scenes. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Uwe Kroger Christmas Gala

Uwe Kroger, Jesper Tyden, Lukas Perman, Olegg Vynnyk, Marika Lichter

Shaky and grainy for the first few minutes and shot from quite far back, but after the first few minutes (\the filmer settles and the quality is exceptional.  The zooms are incredibly clear although some of the longer shots are slightly blurred.  There is some movement every so often, and the camera occasionally wanders off the performers but only momentarily.  You also see the occasional camera flash bouncing off the background.  Songs are a mix of Christmas carols, musical theatre and others and are in English and German and Uwe’s guests all perform solo as well.  Something happens when Uwe tries to sing “You Saved My Life” and he has to restart but then stops halfway through again.

A very nice capture of The Old Globe’s production. The cast is fantastic, and they play off each other very well. It’s great to see new faces in each role, and a fresh take on each character. I particularly loved Marcia’s Sonia. The show has no washout, no obstruction, and very steady filming. There is a two minute blackout before/during Nina’s entrance, but the show is otherwise fully captured. As usual, it’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups, and the sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Fantastic performances from the entire original cast. Jessie’s voice fits beautifully with the score, and she gives a gut-wrenching performance of She Used to Be Mine. Drew, Kimiko, Keala, and Christopher are each hilarious and endearing. Nicely captured with just a few quick dropouts and no major blackouts. There is one head on the left that can occasionally be seen, but it never blocks the action. There is some slight washout in some of the wider shots. Stephanie Torns (Jenna u/s), NaTasha Yvette Williams (Becky), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), Erich Bergen (Dr. Pomatter), Ben Thompson (Earl), Bill Nolte (Old Joe), Benny Elledge (Cal), Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie).

Beautiful HD capture of Stephanie's short run in the show. She is absoulety wonderful as Jenna and I would love her to play the role on tour! Erich also does a wonderful job in the show. And him and Stephanie have great chemistry together. This capture is Act One Only!! Beautifully filmed. Awesome HD with only a few quick dropouts. Awesome capture!

Nicolette Robinson (Jenna Hunterson), NaTasha Yvette Williams (Becky), Katie Lowes (Dawn), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Ben Thompson (Earl), Bill Nolte (Old Joe), Benny Elledge (Cal), Adam Shapiro (Ogie).

Beautiful HD capture of Nicolette's broadway debut run! Nicolette is absolutely sensational in the show. She is a wonderful actress and has a beautiful voice! And has great chemistry with Drew! Katie and Adam are also great in the show as well! NaTasha was once again hilarious as Becky! Awesome capture with barely no dropouts!! Filmed with a mix of wides, mediums and close-ups! Great recording and performance!

LA/America - December 14, 2014 - Matinee

Charles Shaughnessy, Sarah Manton, Frances Barber, Angus McEwan, Paxton Whitehead, Rod McLachlan.

A hilarious show set in a psychiatric ward with great British humor and sexual hijinks. The cast has fantastic timing and the whole show is a joy to watch. This is a great capture with no obstruction, no washout, and just one quick dropout. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, but no playbill scans. A

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf - Pre Broadway
Chicago/America - February 12, 2011

Tracy Letts, Amy Morton, Carrie Coon and Madison Dirks.

Great capture of this PreBroadway production where it began in Chicago. A year and a half later this production with cast intact landed on Broadway. For the first act in wide shots two heads block the far sides. Mostly this is not an issue since zoomed in past them for midsize shots and most of the action is center stage
